The Art of Planes has a ton of great pictures, from concept to final designs. I was not a big fan of the movie, but this book is well worth the price especially if you like planes and even some automobiles as well. Although most of the book has lots of background paintings and fully rendered digital paintings of scenes from the film, it really is worth the price. I give it a good 4 out of 5

After a 4 month or so Sabbatical, the Character Design Blog is back. I have been doing The Character Design Blog for 5 years straight, and I didn't have much of a break from it. There is a lot that goes into it, even though it might not look like it. Mentally it's always in the back of my mind. But enough about my time off...
